Officers arrived and discovered Teddy dead in the pool. The RCSO tells us there were no obvious signs of foul play. It’s unclear which pool the comedian drowned in — the coroner says he lived in Gardena, Calif....

An Uber driver whose car crashed into an Arlington pub on Friday, injuring 15, did not intentionally crash his vehicle and alcohol was not a factor in the wreck, authorities said Monday, citing the results of a preliminary investigation. Arlington police said the driver, who has not been identified, is cooperating with the investigation, but they are still investigating the cause of the crash. Three people remain in hospital, one in critical condition and two in stable condition, police said....

An appeals panel of the Council of the Colleges of Registered Nurses of Manitoba ruled unanimously Thursday that Rhona Sigua should be allowed to enroll in the provincial college of registered nurses. Not to do so, the board said in a decision obtained by CBC, would violate Canadian free trade laws, which the college must take into account under the Regulated Health Professions Act. Sigua, who studied in the Philippines, was denied enrollment in 2013 by the Manitoba college unless she upgraded her basic nursing education....

A police spokesman in the southwestern city of Reutlingen said the electric BMW iX carrying five people, including a toddler, veered off its lane at a bend in the road, causing a series of collisions with four vehicles on Monday afternoon. After brushing an oncoming Citroen, the BMW hit a Mercedes-Benz van head-on, killing a 33-year-old passenger in the vehicle. The 70-year-old driver of the Citroen lost control of her car and crashed into another vehicle carrying two people, pushing it off the road and causing it to burst into flames....
Mayor Barbara Roden told CTV News Vancouver that a man was walking his dog Sunday morning when he had a heart attack. The man was within sight of the local ambulance station, but the nearest medics were about 30 minutes away. Volunteer firefighters were called, but were not trained in this type of medical response. Roden said firefighters who had some first aid gave the man CPR until medics arrived....
