Police have released video and photos of a brazen burglary and theft in Carbonear last week. Thousands of dollars worth of merchandise was stolen from Quality Vapor in the early morning hours of August 8 by multiple hooded and masked suspects. The video shows a person using a sledgehammer to break the front window of the business to gain entry. Three others then follow the person inside, with the sledgehammer used to break shop windows while the thieves frantically grab and toss items into garbage bags. Police are also interested in speaking with the owner of a white SUV that was seen in the area at the time of the crime. RCMP are hoping the public can help identify the suspects and solve the crime.
