The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Antoine Sims, 24, called 911 to complain that staff at a McDonald’s in Kennesaw, Ga., refused to correct his fast food order and asked him to leave the restaurant after a collision. When officers responded to the call, they heard both Sims and a staff member share their sides of the story.

However, dash cam footage captured by police and shared with the Journal-Constitution shows Sims visibly nervous when asked to go back inside the restaurant and sign an acknowledgment of the facts. From there, the Sims can be seen running away from the scene.

As police gave chase, Fox5 Atlanta reports, one of the officers looked up Sims’ last name in the police database and saw there was a warrant out for his arrest. According to WSB-TV in Atlanta, Sims is facing murder charges in the 2018 death of a woman who was found in a burning car, but failed to show up for her court date. According to the Charlotte Observer, Sims was one of three people charged in the murder, after he allegedly drove the dead women to a nearby subdivision and set the car on fire with her body inside after being hit by gunfire. while buying marijuana from Sims. WSB-TV reports police chased Sims for about a 20-minute drive after the fast-food incident before tracking him down in a nearby apartment complex parking lot. One of the officers appears to deploy a stun gun, which incapacitates Sims and sends him to the ground. Story continues below ad According to Fox5, Sims was out on a $275,000 bond issued in February and was due to enter a final plea on July 26, but never showed up. He was wearing a monitoring ankle cuff at the time of his last arrest. Antoine Sims was arrested after a chase led by officers. Cobb County Sheriff’s Office Police told the media they also found ready-to-distribute marijuana in Sims’ car. He was taken to the Cobb County Jail before being extradited to the Fulton County Jail. It’s the second time this month that cold fries have led to a fight at McDonald’s.
