The weather came after Environment Canada issued tornado and thunderstorm warnings for parts of the province, which expired Tuesday morning.
The weather service now reports that some communities received nearly 100 millimeters of rain during those storms, including Vivian, which received 96.6 millimeters, and Winnipeg in Forks, which received 90.3 millimeters.
Other areas of the province hit by heavy rainfall include Beausejour, which received 83.3 mm, Elie, which was hit with 68.3 mm, and the Winnipeg airport area, which received 58.8 mm.

(Michelle Finley Submitted Photo) According to Environment Canada, Marchand saw 56.9 mm of rain, Portage la Prairie Agricultural Station received 56.7 mm and Zhoda was hit with 53.9 mm. The weather service added that Zhoda also had the highest wind gusts, reaching 89 km/h. From 4:20 am as of Tuesday, Environment Canada had no reports of hail or tornadoes in the past 12 hours. WINNIPEG RAIN TOTAL

Several neighborhoods in Winnipeg were also hit hard by Monday’s storms.
According to a precipitation map, accumulations in Winnipeg ranged from 6.9 mm to 86.6 mm of rain.
