West Midlands Police said they are investigating after two CCTV videos were shared online showing a gang targeting the property of Roy Muller, 76, in Great Barr, Birmingham, five days apart. The first video was taken just before 10.30am. of August 11 and shows one of the young men running into Mr Muller’s driveway with what appears to be a gun in his hand. The pensioner then confronts him outside his front door before wrestling him and chasing him to the car. The masked youth falls before swinging an object at Mr. Muller as the pensioner kicks him. The young man then gets back to his feet before punching Mr Muller. A second masked youth then runs down and joins the fray. The two young men then quickly walk up the street before the pensioner picks up his glasses and heads back inside. Mr Muller, a former Birmingham City Council employee, was reportedly left with only minor injuries after the attack. A second video, taken around 5:40 p.m. on August 15, shows two masked youths cursing at Mr Muller from the top of his corridor. The pensioner then warns the youngsters, “you better get out” before they leave. More masked youths then appear before the video ends. “It just keeps getting worse” Mr Muller told the Birmingham Mail he did not know why he was being targeted but was afraid to leave the house. According to reports, the youths threw stones, kicked his door and hurled stones at him for about 10 months. He said: “It started last October, the first time it happened I thought a car was going through the house it was so loud, the bang. “But then it continued and later they wore masks. The longest I’ve gone without it is a month, it could be every day. It just keeps getting worse. “It might be twice a day. I’m hoping to catch them and call the police. On Thursday he was trying to knock my glasses off, then he called his partner and they both ran. “I’ve got a cut in my ear and some pain but nothing I can’t deal with. The police say ignore them but they have to sort it out. The police must have been here five times in the last few weeks.” Read more from Sky News: Search continues for missing nurse Former Pop Idol contestant found dead Mr Muller’s daughter, Natalie Cox, posted extracts of the two August incidents on her Twitter account.
