Anne Heche was trapped in her vehicle as the fire quickly spread and bystanders worked desperately to get her out… and the panic is shown in the 911 call from the scene. The caller — who appears to be a neighbor of the house where Anne crashed — tells the dispatcher that Anne’s car went by the house “really fast.” At first, the caller appears to be unaware of the fact that Anne is trapped in the car, but you can hear people shouting in the background making it clear that someone is in trouble. You can start to hear sirens in the background as the caller states the smoke is getting very black and the fire is breaking out … and there are more shouts in the background for someone trapped. Law enforcement sources tell us the actress had cocaine and possibly fentanyl in her system at the time of the crash. Anne was declared brain dead on Friday and euthanized on Sunday as a medical team worked to collect some of her organs for donation.
