“Come bring me the food,” he wrote on social media. “I’m going to slaughter you.” On Monday, 46-year-old Adam Bies was found in handcuffs. The self-described “UX design lead, marketing ace, adventure photographer and storyteller” began posting violent threats “in the days following the FBI search of former President Donald Trump’s Florida home on August 8, 2022,” according to a criminal complaint. unsealed Monday in federal court in Pittsburgh. “Every piece of shit that works for the FBI in any capacity, from the director to the janitor that cleans their fucking toilets deserves to die,” Bies posted Aug. 10 on the far-right social network Gab, under the brand name “BlankFocus,” referring to complaint. “You declared war on us and now it’s open season on you.” In another post that day, Bies reportedly wrote: “HEY FEDS. We the people don’t WAIT to water the trees of liberty with your blood. I’ll be waiting for you to knock on my door.” On August 11, the FBI’s National Threats Division’s Social Media Exploitation Team received a tip from a nonprofit organization about BlankFocus. The group was alarmed by a post that read, “I already know I’m going to die at the hands of these law enforcement infant child molesters,” according to the complaint. “My only goal is to kill more of them before I fall. I will not spend a single second of my life in their custody.” Another warned: “I honestly believe that if you work for the FBI then you deserve to DIE.” The FBI immediately subpoenaed Gab for the subscriber information associated with the account, which was linked to the email address “[email protected]” But a chat log provided by Gab to the FBI removes any doubt that this was an alias used by Bies, the complaint says. “I use a fake name for my photo and Gab so corporate Murica can’t Google me for work,” Bies naively said in one conversation, according to the complaint. In other posts, Bies compared U.S. federal agents to Nazi SS officers and members of the KGB, the complaint states. Days before his arrest, feds say Bies mocked Gab CEO Andrew Torba, tagging him in a post that read: “It’s perfectly fine for the government to keep telling you they’re going to kill you, but when we decide we’ve had enough and tell them we’re going to slaughter THEM, you’ll be banned from Gump. @one [Andrew Torba] go ahead and ban me you fucking asshole,” adding, “@a just gave me an account strike today for saying a bunch of pedophile thugs in the FBI need to be fired.” In addition to chat logs, Gab provided investigators with the IP addresses used to log into the account, which led agents directly to Bies’ front door in Mercer, Pennsylvania. Bies does not yet have an attorney listed in court records, and a call Monday to a cell phone listed under his name went straight to voicemail. But he left an extensive trail of digital breads online, both in his name and under his name, that provide some insight into his recent state of mind. “I threw away my 25 year career in software and marketing after vaccine refusal to pursue a career as an internet troll funded by my own art,” Bies’ now-deleted profile Gab said, posting the photos of. “Why spend $500 on a Hunter Biden crack doodle when you can get REAL TECH for $20 and up? The Daily Beast reviewed other posts by Bies, as BlankFocus, before his account was removed on Monday afternoon. “I lost over 100 followers today because I think the FBI is a bunch of infantile, pedophiles who deserve to be shot on sight,” said one. “Good fools. Go hang out where you belong, with fucking Chamber of Commerce Mitch McConnell harassing the RINO kids instead. Hopefully YOUR kids will be on the menu next in whatever new hell has replaced Epstein Island.” In another, he wrote: “I will never treat you stinking democrats with respect nor be friends with you in any way for the rest of my life. I can’t wait to see all you stupid pieces die of your vaccine side effects.” A website called Adam Kenneth Campbell, which is linked to Bies’ Gab account and uses the alias the feds say Bies uses, includes a long description of what “Campbell” wants out of life. “I’m not going to shoot your wedding,” he says. “If you got this far into my story, do you think I’d be the right guy to stay in the room while some angry Bridezilla freaks out on her wedding day? I’m not interested in filming events unless I’m at the event of my own free will.” He also blames expat staffing at American companies, claiming he has seen “tons of American workers lose their jobs to foreigners.” But for all Bies’ support of Trump after the Mar-a-Lago quest, he wasn’t necessarily so enamored with him before. “The day after his impeachment, the leader of the free world took time away from grabbing women by the pussies to interrupt Sesame Street and let little kids know that ‘It was all FUCK!’” he wrote, pasting a GIF of a GIF of Trump and his 2020 opponent Hillary Clinton. “Believe me, people always say to me, ‘Adam, don’t go around sharing your political views or you’ll lose half your customers.’ You mean half? Why not just get rid of all my potential customers by saying that if you actually supported any of these clown asses, you are part of the problem in our country. Out of 330 million people to choose from, are these 2 retards the best we could find?” On one of his other sites, Bies says he’s “been in the creative business for over 25 years,” citing various projects, including serving as the lead user experience designer for PNC Bank in 2019. “Experience has shown me that I don’t thrive on big, fancy things [sic] organizations,” Bies wrote. Bies’ arrest comes amid a vociferous campaign by the twice-impeached Trump to discredit the FBI in the wake of the bureau’s court-authorized investigation into classified documents. Last week, a gunman upset over the raid tried to break into the FBI office in Cincinnati before dying in a shootout with police. The FBI is now seeing an “unprecedented” number of threats, according to CNN. Federal prosecutors asked that Bies remain in custody pending trial. Charged with influencing, obstructing or retaliating against federal law enforcement officers.
