Four people jumped off the Jaws Bridge in Edgartown Sunday night. A U.S. Coast Guard spokesman told WBZ-TV they began searching for the swimmers around 11:20 p.m. Two were found unharmed, but two youths did not climb.
State Police spokesman Dave Procopio said police and fire officials were searching for the men as of 3:30 a.m. Divers were brought in to search after sunrise.
The 26-year-old’s body was found by a search party Monday morning, state police said.
The Coast Guard suspended the search for the 21-year-old at approximately 3:00 p.m., pending further developments.
Their names have not been released.

The bridge, officially named the American Legion Memorial Bridge according to State Police, is located on Beach Road and connects Edgartown and Oak Bluffs. It became a landmark after appearing in the 1975 hit film Jaws, which was filmed on the Vineyard.

Even as crews searched for the missing man Monday, youths continued to jump from the bridge.
