The Reds return to Anfield tonight as they face Palace, looking to improve on the 2-2 draw at Fulham nine days ago. That trip to Craven Cottage was a learning experience for Jurgen Klopp, who questioned his players’ attitude afterwards, challenging them to respond. And although injuries continue to pile up with problems for Thiago and Joel Matip in the build-up, it’s another strong Liverpool side that will take to the field tonight. Alison starts at the target, with Phillips taking Matip’s place in the back four Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson. Fabinho keeps his place in midfield, but the absence of Thiago sees the impressive Harvey Elliott gave a start next to James Milner. Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz are kept on the sides, with Darwin Nunez leads the line as a replacement for Roberto Firmino. Klopp will look to manage fitness issues across his squad, and at least benefits from the return of Kostas Tsimikas and Naby Keita, who take their places on the bench. Liverpool: Alison? Alexander-Arnold, Phillips, Van Dijk, Robertson? Fabinho, Elliott, Milner? Salah, Diaz, Nunez Substitutes: Adrian, Gomez, Van den Berg, Csimikas, Henderson, Byctic, Keita, Carvalho, Clarke
