The attack reportedly took place near Main and Keefer streets around 10:45 a.m.

Patricia MacDonald, 58, was charged with assault and released on bond, police said. “Another heartbreaking attack in Chinatown, this time on an 89-year-old man out for his walk,” said Deputy Chief Const. Howard Chow, with the Vancouver Police Department. “A police officer patrolling the area arrived seconds later and arrested (a) woman.”
