Witnesses rushed to help the man they described lying in a pool of blood near a tree in the car park of the Goodrest Tavern on Barker Street in Worcester. Two women were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. A neighbor ran to help, administering first aid to the victim before the ambulances arrived. He said: “He was hit by a bottle. “We had to give him CPR. Then when the ambulance arrived they did CPR. “It’s not on track.” The woman said she thought she might have been injured during an altercation between two groups. The Goodrest Tavern on Barker Street in Worcester He said he saw police remove a bottle and a pair of sunglasses. It happened at around 8.30pm on Saturday (August 13). Another neighbor said: “He was covered in blood and had bandages around his head.” The woman, who lives in the area, said: “I took blankets and pillows off him because it was obvious he was not in a good condition, he was badly injured. Onlookers say eight police cars with sniffer dogs and two ambulances arrived at the scene. He added: “We’ve only heard good things about the pub, I’m a bit concerned, you don’t expect to see someone like that, it was in a really bad state. “What’s up world.” In a statement, police said: “Officers were called to the scene following reports of a fight. “On arrival a man was found with serious injuries and was later taken to hospital for further treatment. “Two women, aged 18 and 19, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remain in custody as inquiries continue. “Anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen the incident is asked to contact us by reporting it online on the ‘Tell Us About’ section of the West Mercia Police website quoting report 705i of August 13.
