The princess

21:00, Sky Documentary

What else can be said about Diana, Princess of Wales 25 years after her death? And yet this haunting documentary from the Oscar-winning team behind Man on Wire and Searching for Sugar Man lets more than 90 minutes of exquisitely selected archive footage do the talking. Taking a “Don’t do it, Dee!” the sign ahead of the royal wedding speaks volumes. HR

Between the controversies over strategy and the disruptive public actions themselves (which often involve fake blood), the heart-wrenching stories of the mostly HIV-positive members escape. It’s also a sweet love story – as new boy Nathan (Arnaud Valois) falls for sick but angry Sean (a terrifically dashing Nahuel Pérez Biscayart). Simon Wardell
