-ONE Larger Font Increase the font size of the article A+ British Columbia Premier John Horgan has called a by-election for the Surrey South constituency. The position was left vacant after the departure of Liberal Stephanie Cadieux, who resigned in April to become Canada’s first accessibility director.

Following Horgan’s announcement, the BC Green Party announced the candidacy of Simon Fraser University student Simran Sarai. She joins NDP candidate Pauline Greaves and Liberal candidate Elenore Sturko in the race for the provincial seat.
