Homicide investigators have now named the victim in hopes of speaking to his associates and other witnesses. Officers arrived to find a man suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of the police and paramedics, he died at the scene. Police investigators now say they believe the shooting is connected to the local drug-trafficking scene, but do not believe it is connected to the ongoing gang conflict in the Lower Mainland. “We are able to confirm that this is an isolated incident,” said Sgt.
