According to an FBI forensics report obtained by ABC News, the gun that provided the fatal bullet in the Oct. 21 shooting on the New Mexico set “could not have been fired without the pull of the trigger.” Baldwin, the Western star and producer, claimed he thought he was handling a “cold-blooded weapon” without actual fire when it went off and a bullet hit Hutchins, killing her. The film’s director, Joel Souza, was injured in the incident.
