UPDATE 6:55 p.m Kamloops RCMP say Miles Quigley has been found dead. “While a full determination has not yet been made, RCMP do not believe criminality is involved in the man’s sudden death,” police said in a brief statement Friday night. “The BC Coroner’s Office has been notified and a concurrent inquest has been launched into the man’s death.” No other information is given. ORIGINAL 7:50 AM Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing motorcyclist. Miles Quigley, 66, failed to arrive at his Lake Sheridan residence as planned Thursday afternoon. He was riding his silver 1991 Honda motorcycle and was last seen leaving Versatile Drive in Kamloops, heading north on Highway 5 shortly after 1:30 p.m. Quigley was scheduled to arrive at his residence at approximately 3:30 p.m., but did not make it as planned. “Miles’ family and police are concerned for his welfare. We are asking anyone who was traveling on Highway 5 on August 11th between 1 and 5 pm and may have seen Miles or his motorcycle to call Kamloops RCMP,” says Staff Sgt. Janelle Shoihet. Quigley is described as a Caucasian male, five feet nine inches tall and 141 pounds. He has blonde hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a blue and black coat, navy rain pants and a black helmet.
