I have few words to express my sorrow. Jason Colin was such a dedicated young man, committed to the township and unparalleled kindness. The shock is huge for the Montreal North community. My heart goes out to his parents and loved ones. #polmtl — Christine Black (@cblackmairesse) August 11, 2022 According to the non-profit CDEC de Montréal-Nord, Colin had plans to create his own community organization that would incorporate his passion for hockey. “Generous, kind and involved, he attended our practice because he wanted to start the hockey organization to share his passion with youth who don’t have the opportunity to play the sport,” reads a CDEC Facebook post. “We are proud to have him among us.”
