The Weasel Creek fire, located in the southeast corner of the province near the East Kootenay community of Roosville, is burning 1,087 hectares on the Canadian side of the border. Four people jumped off the Jaws Bridge in Edgartown Sunday night. A U.S. Coast Guard spokesman told WBZ-TV they began searching for the swimmers around 11:20 p.m. Two were found unharmed, but two youths did not climb. State Police spokesman Dave Procopio said police and fire officials were searching for the men as of 3:30 a.m. Divers were brought in to search after sunrise.
